Tell us about yourself. What do you do outside of the gym?

Hey! I work for the Victorian Government. Tm married with a 7 year old daughter named Ella, I’m a bit of a foodie and love exploring new places to eat.

How did you come to strongwoman? What drew you to it? How long?

I’ve always liked any sports that showed off strength and power, i was a national champion hammer thrower as a youngster and dabbled in a little Olympic

Weightlifting too.  I started Powerlifting 2 years ago and it has contributed greatly to my Strongman performance. I decided end of last year that I would focus more on strongman as I had built a great strength base through Powerlifting.

Who/what inspires you and why?

The people I train with. I believe people need people and without my support team, I wouldn’t step foot in the gym. I’m also a big fan of Donna Moore, I hope I can be as strong as her one day.

Do you do any other type of training/sports?

No but i’d love to give AFL a try.

What is your favorite gym movement and/or Strongwoman event & why?

Least favorite & why I hate yoke. its a crushing movement. i dont think i could ever get used to it. I love moving events, I am pretty quick on my feet, I enjoy the adrenalin rush.

What are you training for next?

Arnold classic Australia, then GPC Powerlifting State Titles.

What is your favorite Strongwoman specific memory/ achievement/ PB?

Probably when i pulled a 240kg axle deadlift at the strongman grandprix series in 2015

How do you stay motivated?

The people i train with keep me in line and make sure I get it done. I visualize where I want to be in the future and that keeps me on track.

What is your best piece of advice for beginners?

Train to get strong on the 3 big lifts (bench, squat, deadlift)  and it will transfer over to  strongman, I have found my powerlifting training has help me so much with my strongman performance.

Are you a sponsored athlete?  nope
